Excursion to Berlin (day 2 and 3)

After 3 hours in our smelling room, we got up (actually, Cesar woke us up), took a shower and went out. Walking around we found some interesting places:

We kept walking and suddenly someone spoke to us in Spanish:
  • Hola chicos!
  • Interesante......
We went there and you know what? The guy who had spoken to us was the guide, jeje,... good publicity!! Anyway, we joined the tour with many other spanish speakers.

The guide was amazing because he took us to the most interesting places in the city and told us so many stories about the city. He also had the gift of the gab because in every story we felt like living it ourselves. Important places:
  • Monument to the dead Jewish.
  • Hitler's bunker (where he died).
  • RDA main building (previously air forece building; no bombs fall over it during the war.....strange...).
  • The Wall.
  • Check Point Chalie (one the hottest check points to pass from East Berlin to West Berlin, controlled by the USA).
  • French neighbourhood.
  • Crying woman.
  • Main square.

Exhausted after the tour, we had some chinese food for dinner. After that, we met with a groups of spanish that are as Erasmus in Berlin. Not bad, spnanish music and much fun!

Next morning, after a quick view of the city, we headed back in our car..
